SearchAtomic is a program that amends the settings of your browser in a forced manner. This is why it is classified as a browser hijacker. It hijacks the home page of your browser and modifies its search settings and your browsing preferences. When you go online to look for some information you will see searchatomic.com displayed in the home page of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. These three major browsers are under the main attack of this browser hijacker. This guide will explain to you how to get rid of it effectively from your computer.
SearchAtomic browser hijacker may be spread today together with other free programs. The truth is that there is a large variety of such applications that do not require any payment to be made on behalf of user to enjoy their benefits. However, the price some users often “pay” for actually installing such free applications is the huge number of absolutely useless extra applications, which users surely don’t need at all. In fact, users could easily avoid installation of such bundled programs, but the problem is that very often they simply don’t pay attention to all the important details mentioned in the setup wizards of such programs. This is how they actually allow all unwanted and useless installations to take place on their computers, including SearchAtomic hijacker.
The creators and developers of SearchAtomic promise to really enhance the way users get search results. They promise to provide them with some relevant information which would supposedly match user’s queries. In reality, this is an absolutely useless search engine, which doesn’t do any good thing as far as getting decent search results are concerned. Instead, if you actually continue looking for the information through searchatomic.com, you will see a lot of annoying ads displayed in the home page of your browser, plus you will see a lot of sponsored links displayed together with the search results redirected through SearchAtomic hijacker. In fact, this is the reason why its owners and developers plan to implant this browser hijacker into as many computers as they can. This brings them pretty good earnings for displaying various of such ads and sponsored links on behalf of various companies that pay for such ads to be displayed inside of the hijacked browser. Yet, users in this case are the least happy. They aren’t satisfied with their browsers hijacked by SearchAtomic. This is because they don’t obtain any relevant search results through it, and, quite to the contrary, there is a danger in clicking all such sponsored ads and links in the hijacked browser. This may redirect them to a lot of other third-party websites, which in their turn could infect their PCs even more with thousands of other browser hijackers, adware and potentially unwanted programs.
We recommend that you get rid of SearchAtomic browser hijacker as soon as you find it as a part of your computer. The very removal process of it can be performed using two different methods – automatic and manual approaches. Please follow any of them, or both of them, for complete removal of this hijacker from your computer.
